Jeremevans
I'm setting up a new tank that is acrylic so I'm looking for good ways to keep the acrylic clear of algae without scratching it. I've seen the blue mag float, but I was wondering what other people are using and recommend.
CaptJackalope89
I use a flipper mag with the acrylic scrapper fitted to it... If you really work at it you can get most stuff off but I worked much better on glass. I also use acrylic safe scrubber pads that I attached to a stick thing. TheClark
Many use dobie pads. Google it up of course, opinions vary on them. I use them... The other really cool option is a scraper made out of acyrlic. There is a guy in town who makes them here, Charles on the forum makes them, and Envision makes them. All good options, good luck!
pledosophy
I used to use a piece of scrap acrylic that I got from Taps for like $2. It was better than the magfloat, magic eraser, flipper, kent scraper, and credit card which I have also tried. Acrylic doesn't scratch acrylic go figure.

That seems obvious but I never thought of that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

At least you won't have to buy all the other stuff like I did first. Cheers
