What do your corals eat?

I'm wondering what feeding regiment others use to keep corals healthy. I want to make sure to provide the corals in my tank have everything they need to stay healthy. I would love to hear what those of you with lots of experience do to keep your corals looking great. Thanks in advance for your help!

At first glance I thought you were asking what corals I eat! I was super excited for this thread!

I feed light. as in sunlight...does that count? Other than that: phyto, and oyster feast very occasionally. I even more rarely target feed my LPS. Also feed fish urine and #2's.

It has been my experience that it is easy to over do the feeding of corals. If you have fish and light most corals will be happy. Oyster feast or similar products are good and have seen great response from most corals when these are introduced. More feeding equals more waste so make sure that you stay on top of water changes and have filtration to keep up with the extra waste generated from the feeding. Amino acids can be expensive and are often stripped out by your skimmer before the corals really have a chance to feed on them. Best to make sure your skimmer is off for a period of time when do so as not to waste the product. And as always when ever you make a change to your normal routine keep a close eye on your tank parameters to ensure that the good you thought you were doing is actually beneficial to your system.
