onefang
Got some bad news today, and I am just not going to be able to enjoy my tank so am tearing down.. again.. So, in the interest of re-homing stuff in a hurry, I am clearing it out cheap. Branching Frogspawn - 4 heads $10 for whole colony Branching hammer - 9 heads $20 for whole colony Purple & Green Ricordea - $5 ORA Sharknose Goby - This guy eats mysis like a boss, will include 3 packs of mysis free to get you started - free to a good home 9 Cerith snails - free to a good (and hopefully with algae to munch) home Cycled Reefcleaners base rock (same as BRS reefsavers), and some uncycled - Free to anyone who wants it (once the tank is empty) 10-15lbs of fiji pink live sand - Free (once the tank is empty) I am in Eugene, and not really looking to drive, so you'd have to come to me. Here's a pic of the corals: Hammer: Frogspawn: Ricordea Sharknose goby:

Emerald525
I will take the refractometer for sure. I don't need one now but will one day!
Emerald525
Why do you have to take the tank down? That sucks! You just got it all up!
catfish2
Sorry to hear about having to tear things down. I'm interested in the snails, the frogspawn, hammer, refracotmeter, and salt. I'll send you a PM.
onefang
As soon as I got it running, I got put in a work situation where I will not be home to care for a reef tank, and my wife wants nothing to do with it. The universe doesn't want me to have a reef tank right now I guess. This is the last straw though.. My employer has done this to me before, and I am going to have a serious chat, and start looking for employment elsewhere. I will hold the refractometer for ya, if you want it. onefang
Emerald, Do you want the refractometer - or should it go to catfish2.. your call since you dibbs'd it first.
catfish2
Oops, I didn't read Emerald's post very closely. I didn't mean to try and swoop in on the refractometer. If Emerald ends up not wanting it after all, I could definitely use it, but I obviously see I was a little late with that request. Thanks! I just can't pass up a good deal. If you need it right now it is yours! It will also save him the hassle of having to ship.
onefang
Update: All corals called for. Refractometer called for. Both pico skim boxes called for. Media basket called for. Test kits sold. Goby still available Rock and sand still available after everything else goes. That was crazy fast.
catfish2
Very Kind of you Emerald. I hate to admit it, but I've been reefing for a while now without a refractometer. I've always had plans to get one, but the money always goes to getting more coral. I'm sure others can relate.

eclipse522
I think i want the rock and the sand. This would be a great opportunity for me to check out eugene. Never been there before. I need to read up on the goby to see if he/she would be ok in my tank.
onefang
I have a couple of folks in line for the rock/sand. But You are definitely welcome to come snag the sharknose. He's really chill, has gotten comfortable enough with people that he'll eat mysis from my fingers.
