Gil&Fin
When I buy or move corals or anemones from one tank to another I try to keep the lighting intensity consistent, at least initially. How do I do this, you ask? By squinting really hard and pretending that I can detect the color/intensity difference with my naked eye. Is there some sort of meter or way to measure lighting so that I can make good choices about placement?

Gil&Fin
Ooohhh. That rings some bells. There was a recent post that talked about PAR/PUR and lighting intensity. As I recall it got kind of "intense" (pun intended) and I did not keep up with the thread. I'll go back and see what it said. Thanks for the response, newbie.
Higher Thinking
All supporting members of the club have the option of borrowing the club par meter.
