fishmanmike01
Glued my return bar on tonight with glue that was pretty jellied only to read on can, "if glue is jelly like do not use". Anyone ever done this? Should I be worried?
Blue Z Reef
I did this once recently and it leaked. I'm sure it's possible to still get away with it but it's definitely not like new stuff. I ended up using epoxy around the outside of those joints to seal them (2 part). Leaks were smaller pinhole ones but were in a few spots. May be worth a redo or epoxy safety sealing. fishmanmike01
I've tried to pull it apart by hand but the bond seems solid. Not sure if I should risk it. I'd have to rebuild the entire bar.
Saltwater newbie
If you have a heat gun you can heat it and get them back apart.
fishmanmike01
If you have a heat gun you can heat it and get them back apart. I have the holy grail of heat guns. That will work? I mean before the pipe would get soft and melt?
