Trenton Henderson
I don't know what these are and I kind of want to know. The first picture is these tiny worm like things with a fan on there head that only show up in filters with a lot of detritus, such as my hang on filter and my old protein skimmer. There are a ton in my filter. The second one is a little jelly like blob that has recently showed up in the filter. I think I have something like it on the underside of one of my rocks. If these could be identified that would be great! Thanks Trenton

matty
Yep, they are harmless filter feeders that stick to the darker areas.

matty
Those are just common sponges, also harmless. Both are good to have.
