J-Dog
Hey guys, i had a question about refugium flow. I have some different macro algae growing in my fuge, but I'm starting to get some nuisance algae growing also. Do most people add pumps in there fuge to keep a little flow moving around? I'm just trying to figure out how to keep the nuisance stuff from growing and my macro flourishing. Algae also seems to be growing faster on my DT glass and I'm not sure if the fuge is causing it. If anyone has any ideas, I would really appreciate the help.

Toby Flenderson
Like coral or anything else in our tank, different plants and algae need different spectrums and conditions. I'm going to look up the last bulb I bought because it was a winner. Got it from amazon.
rollermonkey
I've got the 4-LED JBJ magnetic light hanging on the back glass of my fuge and a typically half-clogged MJ-1200 pulling flow through. So far, this seems like the perfect combination for the green slime algae to flourish and the chaeto to melt away.
Toby Flenderson
This was recomended to me by mohaynow, works really well, I used a clamp on utility fixture. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002KEL4EA/ref=oh_details_o02_s01_i00
saltygobie
I have always ran a 6500k 60 watt daylight twist bulb found at most hardware stores . My hardware store carries then on hand around 7 to 10$
