Ahhhh ok I'll not put them close then! Thank you! How about red and blue mushrooms touching' date=' I know my hammers touch and don't have issues but?[/quote']

It's I'm your personal experience but euphyllias frogspawn and hammer can touch, but I've read that torches can be really strong and kill even hammers and frogspawns. This is not IME though.

It sounds brutal but I sliced the heads of and dropped them in the softie tank then hit the base with a torch . No algae bloom yet so I think I'm good . One rock I couldn't remove has two nems on it so I glued a frag of zoas on it . Now I'm good to go .. Hopefully get the nano set up so the nems will be out soon as well . I kick myself for wanting a mixed reef it allows for a lot to go wrong in the future . I think the sps bug has bit me !!

IME when ever i put zoas next to my shrooms the zoas take over the rock and crowd the shrooms out till they move or die unless the shroom is a large one then it seem to hold them at bay..

Thats odd in my tank its the opposit. The shrooms will overtake the zoa's and smother or sting them to death. My shrooms might just be jerks though.

typically most mushrooms will overpower zoas. paly's can take out some of the weaker mushroom species. it depends on the species. there are lots of zoas we struggle with just to keep from melting, let alone getting touched by anything else in the tank.
