kingtrident
So I got some fish here in San Antonio, TX And found out at the skycap I couldn't check in my fish and had to have my brother come to pick them up I guess you need to be a known shipper and have an acct do send them. I'm told to ship without an acct from FedEx or ups costs like $150. Anyone else had an experience like this?

Check their online site to see if you can get the fish from Texas to your home overnight. If you can it will be at least half the cost of Fedex and UPS. MVPaquatics
Sorry for your delay, I know how frustrating it can be! I have also had such inconviences. How do you become a "known" shipper? To me that makes no sense. Who is supposed to know you? Kinda stupid...maybe try to find a known shipper in the area to have them ship it for you. Good Luck! Hope your livestock is ok
aquaman30k
Interesting. I haven't had that experience when flying out of LA on Jet Blue or Alaska but I do know most airlines have strict requirements for packaging of live goods and luquids. For instance coral and fish need to be packed in a styro inside of a cardboard box labeled live goods perishable. Alaska had me write my name and phone number on the outside incase it got lost but other than that it was good to go.
