Mohaynow
A few months ago I saw a couple sally lightfoot legs sticking out of the mouth of one of my maxi mini anemones. The crab was kindof a jerk so I shrugged it off as an act of nature. But today, I spotted the long leg of my harlequin serpent starfish sticking out of another anemone's mouth. I've had that starfish for almost 3 years now, and although I don't see him much, I knew he was there. Untill today. Kindof a bummer. jawfish
I had no idea they would eat stuff that large & mobile! I guess I've been lucky so far- I have 6 of them and so far I don't think they've eaten any of their tank buddies. I've only had one mysterious disappearance (a TINY regal tang- about 3/4") that I blamed on my huge RBTA because the stupid tang was always following the clowns into it. Maybe I blamed the wrong anemone!
Mohaynow
I was moving things from my 90 to my 150 today and guess who I found! Might be missing half a leg, but it'll grow back.

Mitchell
Wow, that's crazy! I would have liked to watch how it got out, it probably looked like a scene from Alien.
Mitchell
Or maybe the nem never tried eating the star and just ate the leg that the star somehow lost. (scratch)

Mohaynow
I think it was more of a 127 hours type scenario. Survival drives us to extremes sometimes.
C0lin
You should call that star Lazarus.
Kimberlee
You see this is why I'm trying to get a web cam recording my tank 24/7. I know some crazy goes on when ever we look away.
