Chief
I am thinking of redesigning the front pages. They will be more streamlined, and less cluttered. They should also be viewable in a variety of screen sizes. Here is a sample: Sample Web Page By the way, go easy on me. I have ZERO web design skills. I though this looked OK for an amateur. Michael7979
Looks very good! I would like to see the 'fourms' buttons underneath the banner be a little bigger or more noticeable, (ie. color changed). Also the POTM pic should be a little larger.
Chief
I could definitely make the buttons headings bigger. The POTM picture will be a clickable thumbnail to a larger picture in Gallery Section where it will be featured for the month. I will also lighten up the aqua-blue background. It is still a little to dark and hard on the eyes. Keep the comments coming. Jay
DChemist
I thought the POTM or the Gallery should be in a 'slideshow' sort of format...
R-3
The Slideshow would be cool. Might get a little long after awhile. Maybe just to a year maximum. Later Ryan
Chief
I'll see if I can make a slideshow happen. Jay
andy
I suggest checking out a content management system like Expression Engine (~$150), or am extendable blogging system like Wordpress (free). They make site design and management so much easier. Their plug-in systems make implementing galleries, slide shows, blogs, etc a lot easier too. There are thousands of themes available to use as-is or customize. Really, a lot more usable and flexible than static HTML.
reefhut
There's a way to do slide show with photobucket too.
