C0lin
So I just got a new return pump for some extra flow and it's pretty loud. I'm thinking about putting some sand down in the chamber to decrees the vibration.Any other tips that might help?
Mohaynow
I don't know if I would put sand in the chamber with it, it could get sucked in and damage the impeller. Try to make sure the return line isn't vibrating against anything, or that its not too short and causing the pump to be slightly suspended and rattle. Did it come with a mounting plate with suction cups?
C0lin
It did. But the only way to mount it would be on the very bottom, which it is right now.

C0lin
You know, I think it's just the pump itself. I didn't really consider that when I bought it :(

C0lin
Ecoplus Eco
Bicyclebill
I had the ecoplus 1267 and found it way too loud for my liking. sometimes just twisting the line a little bit to get it to sit a little different can help a lot. Using the rubber feet foot sure . Definitely don't put sand in there, unless you need an excuse to buy a new pump for your significant other. C0lin
I think I'm just gonna keep the old one. It's working way better now and is totally silent. Oh well.
