pnkrcklives
I know these guys eat flat worms. How fast will they eat them? If they run out of them what else would they eat. I dont want to have to introduce more flatworms in the tank for him to survive. Any advise will help...
Emerald525
It's like other nudibranchs. It does a pretty decent job of eating flatworms. They have a short life span and once they have eaten all the flatworms they will die unless you can pass it along to someone else. Same as other nudibranchs too you have to watch the powerheads and other fish eating them. The berghias I got we added them at night when the fish were asleep and turned all the poweheads off until they acclimated. That's about all I know so if you get one, please keep me posted on how it works for you.
badxgillen
i have a out break in a 55 and i placed one in there to clean some up.wich it did. but i believe my population exceeded the apetite of the nudibranch so i suppose if you had a smaller tank or added more than one they could do the trick but i would also use another form of treatment to be sure they are eradicated. ThePremiumAquarium
I carry a product called Flatworm RX. It's reef safe and works wonders. Just make sure and have a water change ready to go and a siphon hose. Once they are dead net and suck them out so that their toxin doesn't kill any fish.
