jonas
So I was out of town for a week. My wife took care of the tank while I was gone. When I got home everything looked great. Didn't notice right away that my rbta was missing. My clowns are swimming around the tank and have not done that since they started hosting the nem. I looked everywhere for the rbta and can not find it anywhere. I did not move any rock looking for it. Question is should I move the rock or just hope he comes out?everything else looks fine and water is great.
spye
Hmm not sure. Ive never not seen my rbta....ever. I have heard of them getting sucked into powerheads or getting into sumps etc but?
nhowe
I'd do a water test. If it died your parameters should show it in a nitrate spike. If you see a jelly like white blob in the tank, that's the dead body. Otherwise, I'd wait a couple days till I started flipping rocks. Hopefully it shows itself by then. Bicyclebill
I second nhowe's answer. My nem sometimes retreats for whatever reason, but always comes back out; sometimes after splitting.
