titus'reef
I have been trying to catch my shrimp but I have no luck. The minute I get close to the tank they are way gone. Does anyone have any idea?
kschaefers
Mine usually Jump on the chance to clean my hand if I put it in the tank so its never been a problem for me, maybe try turning off anything that creates a flow and put some food away from their cave so they come out and swoop them when they do, that or get a trap
titus'reef
The problem is that my tank is full of SPS and I have braking them. Are there any DIY trap threads? i could maybe build one
Gill
How about a small critter keeper with a fishing line tied to the lid? Nick at rose city told me he caught fish out of his big display tank this way.
Danik
take a one litter coke bottle cut the bottle about 4 inches from the top and reverse it in to the bottle. put some food inside the bottle and wait. i also made the neck opening a little bigger and put a small rock inside bottle so it doesn't float. it worked good for me, got both of mine out in less that one hour. impur
silverside in a net should work. Just leave the net at the bottom until they get in it and zoom scoop em up If that doesn't work i'd try the coke bottle like Danik suggested.
titus'reef
I will try with the net first, than if it doesn't work with the bottle. It's funny because it seemed to be easy to catch, but I was wrong.
