Rick
Congrats on the new camera. It looks like you got the one you sent me a message about? Are you shooting Raw or Jpeg? (The Exif leads me to believe Jpeg)

Rick
God ' date='Rick you are like sherlock Holmes. You nailed it. Jpeg, I just finally figured out how to get the white balance right and am trying to get the apture and shutter speed were I want them for reef pics.[/quote'] I just reviewed the Exif data inside the pictures. Since they contained saturation and sharpness data I assumed they were probably shot with Jpeg. If you shoot raw then you can adjust the white balance during post processing. I would start with about 1/160th on your shutter speed and about f5.6 on the aperture and then go from there. That seems to be a good starting point for me for most tanks. (My keeper rate for pics is a lot higher at 1/160th. than it is at 1/120th.)

Emerald525
Love the last picture Jon. It's nice to finally see your aquarium. I was starting to wonder if maybe it didn't really exist kinda like cyberboy or that you truly had not done a water change in 4 years and it was this cesspool of death and algae. Thanks for proving me wrong! (laugh)
