Mitchell
What would you recommend to light a 36" by 24" by 8" tall tank? If anyone has anything for sale that would work let me know. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk

Mitchell
Would a 36" 4 bulb ho t5 fixture not be enough? Since its so shallow I thought halides would be too bright. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
Electrokate
T5HO should work, I use 4 54 watt bulbs over my 120 and get color and growth out of sps though I do easier stuff like Pocilloporas, cats paws, birds nests, very few acroporas. At 8" deep it would work. Watch bulb brand though, some are worthless, and you want good reflectors for each T5 bulb not a single flat one. Or a lower wattage halide with a good reflector. Rick
Would a 36" 4 bulb ho t5 fixture not be enough? ..... That's what I would suggest.
moovinfast
I would do a 4 bulb T5 or make two 70 MH fixtures out of halogen work lamps. There are lots of DIY tutorials around for them.
