kingtrident
Where is the best place to buy a 1-5/8'' bulkhead? I struck out here in Chehalis, most places just have the standard sizes. Had the tank going for a bit and saw water at the base, bulkhead was cracked. Thanks!
reefnjunkie
Yikes, not sure about that in your parts, and 1 5/8" thats the I.D. for the PVC?? Maybe swap it for a standard size if the flange will cover the hole drilled. Man just not sure what local stores you have and BH are not typical at stores anyway. SWF usually has quite a few or you can try OIAB (oceans in a box) 360-977-7864 they open at
kingtrident
Yeah 1 5/8'' PVC is the I.D. I'll try calling a few more places before 11, thanks Brad.
reefnjunkie
No worries, question though where do you find 1 5/8" PVC? Is this for a retrun or drain, what part of the tank is this plumbing for? Just curios only because I have not seen that size PVC except on skimmers and Calcium reactors. Some companies use special sizes that we can't just go buy replacements for which is a real drag

kingtrident
It's for a drain that came with the tank, Oceanic's logo is on the bulkhead.
acrylics
If 1 5/8" is the size of the hole in the bulkhead, it's 1 1/4" PVC which has an OD of ~1 5/8". So really, it's a 1 1/4" bulkhead. Most LFS should carry those. James
