Dwarf Cuttlefish

Before the Cephalopod police get here, I just want to make sure you know a few things about Cuttlefish.

Their expected live expectancy in the wild is 1 year. So you may see a bit longer in captivity. Most Cephalopods die after spawning. There are a few exceptions, but these aren't one of them.

Finally, Cephalopods are very smart, some even being able to solve and remember the solution to problems that have several steps. Thankfully Cuttlefish aren't Octopi, so you dont have to worry about them climbing out of the tank because the bundle of cords looks like a nicer home then the tank.

ya i have done lots of research on them. and they sound cool. i am just thinking about the possibility of adding a few to my refugium.

Thats great. I just hate when people learn the hard way. There is always a learning curve between the book, and the tank, but its always best to minimize it.
