Algae
Could anyone suggest any semi-terrestrial crabs that would be suitable (and available) a reef system?

Mitchell
Hahah awesome picture grassi. To answer your question I believe fiddler crabs are semi-terrestrial http://www.saltwaterfish.com/Orange-Fiddler-Crab_p_3317.html
Algae
Hahah awesome picture grassi. To answer your question I believe fiddler crabs are semi-terrestrial http://www.saltwaterfish.com/Orange-Fiddler-Crab_p_3317.html Thanks! I was considering Fiddler crabs but it says that they are not reef safe. Also the size of 5" gives me pause. There has to be a lot of semi (NOT extra!) terrestrail crabs out there. It is just finding a small, peaceful and reef safe variety that is imported is somewhat daunting.

ThePremiumAquarium
Sally light foot crabs will often cruse the rocks outside of the water. Also, many hermits will as well.
TheGooseWhisperer
Also' date=' many hermits will as well.[/quote'] When my daughter was 2 she handed me a "piece of trash" one night...it was a hermit crab from the tank that she found walking across the middle of the living room!
