Arsonmfg
I wouldn't call them quiet, they aren't screaming loud but you can definitely hear them running, too loud for my taste... no where near the Reeflo pumps. If you want quiet then send it back and get the Snapper. I love my Snappers, my skimmer makes more noise than my snapper. The Reeflo pumps are as close to silent as you can get. impur
I had a panworld pump and had to sell it. Just too loud. There is a mod over on RC to replace the stock fan with a computer fan which helps tremendously.
Smann
I have a Panworld running right now, its really quiet, I read several reviews before I bought it and all said they were real quiet, maybe the new ones are better. I've run Genx in the past and the Pan is definetly quieter the them
WAVES
FYI the Snapper no longer exists,, what they have now is a Snapper/Dart Hybrid. the have always been the same pump, just with different impellers (any pump can be converted). The Hybrid comes with both impellers so you can make it a dart or a snapper. Their is also the Super Dart, which has an even larger impeller Snapper: 2500gph Dart: 3600gph Super Dart #9 impeller : 4200gph
