cellowithgills
I've got a tank that is running empty right now and i noticed a couple of days ago that it is teeming with amphopods. I was just wondering if I can trap them so I can possible move them to another tank or give to some one with a Mardrin Goby.
snowpunk
put some very porous rock in there and they may climb into it for safety. then take the rock out. I really don't know a better way. hopefully someone else does...good luck
mwheeler
They really like the pre-filter sponges that some powerheads have as well.
AquaticEngineer
Toss a dollar store unscented luffa sponge in there for a day or two, or even use it to gather them off the sides of the tank. We used to use them to transfer pods from a refugium sump into a tank we kept mandarins in to sell at a pet store I worked at.
