racefan
Who else gets the honor of working Thanksgiving? Being in the gasoline transportation business, we only get Christmas & New Years off. That's the good side/bad side of it. When everybody gets to play we get to work. However in this economy griping about too much work is a good problem to have. Emerald525
In my early years in my job I worked many holidays and for a long time I didn't even view Thanksgiving as a holiday. It was just another working day for me. I get the honor of working Christmas this year but I really can't complain as I am enjoying the warm weather in Texas. Michael7979
We only close for Thanksgiving and Xmas. So depending on days off you might be lucky enough to get New Years off too. :p

Emerald525
I wish I had a job' date=' would work through the holidays gladly if I had one.[/quote'] I heard that Eddie. I meet so many people who are out of a job. When I start to think about complaining , I remember that fact and how truly lucky I am.
Chief
In the last 20 years I have worked every holiday except Christmas. The store I am in now is open on Christmas day but we have many employees that volunteer to work. I will be working until 5pm today. After so many years working the holidays, I don't even notice anymore. Oh well. I don't eat turkey anyway. Jay
