SquidHC
Made a few fish traps today. Turned out pretty good I think. 5"x5"x8".
TRENT
Nice job, How much. I need something like this to catch a Sally lightfoot. Have you used one yet?
Michael7979
2 questions for ya! Will it hold a lg. Clown tang? (It's 8" long right?) Are you loaning it out? Or renting?
SquidHC
They are 5x5x8". I made them so when you catch a fish, you can stand it on it's end and it will hold 5.5" of water, but if someone needed a larger one, for say your 8" tang, it would be no problem to make a larger one. No, I haven't used them yet. I only have a 25g tank, and it wouldn't have anywhere to fit! I did try one in another tank though and it worked fine. I already learned a few things I'd do diferently. I made them for someone, so I don't have one myself. But like I said, I could make em pretty easily.

Algae
Using the roofer's square and cutting a 45 degree piece out of corner for gluing the trap is pretty clever. Nice job!
