J.R
Are there many Blazer fans in this forum? I think if we can get healthy including Oden we will be in the top 3 in the west.
impur
Heck ya!!! Although i'm not happy how Pritchard was tossed out. And i think they should trade Oden. I started a thread last season but it didn't really have many posters. Year before that was a great thread though.
J.R
I think they will have a nice year. The only part that worry's me about trading Oden is that I dont think we could get much value for him. He's pretty much as low as he can go. That Prich situation was quite odd. impur
Yah true, but he doesn't do them much good sitting on the bench 2 out of 3 years either. At least get someone who the starters can practice against.
R-3
Pritchard did get screwed but we got another young gun in Cho. Blazers are set. Dont get hasty. Let them play this season with the players they have and you will see some good things. Just remember to look at the others teams in the west this offseason. Most lost key players or didnt do anything. Now only if we could get Taj Gibson for Rudy GO BLAZERS
J.R
I would trade Rudy for a 12oz light beer right about now! I just heard on the radio that the Suns will be our home opener.

J.R
Batum is a stud! I think we do need to consolidate some players so we can have another all-star type player on the team, hopefully one that can shoot since we really dont have one right now. (assuming Rudy is gone)
wegotjs
I love batum but he isn't going to be a guy that brings a championship. But he may intice another team to let us have one of there players to do that. Ryan I belive there is no untradable player on the blazers including Roy.
impur
Batum might not score the way Roy does, but he is a lockdown defender. The only one they've got now that Martell is gone.
J.R
We'll who knows maybe by the time the trade deadline arrives will be able to snag CP3. It's in Febuary so we have some time.
Michael7979
We cannot afford to lose Batum. I honestly would trade Roy instead. Yeah I said it. I totally agree! CP3 is off the market after the trade today. NO got Ariza and traded away Collison. With no PG back up in NO I can't see CP3 being traded unless the start out 2-31!! Keep Batum! But I still think they ar a 'good' PG away from doing some real damage in the West. Hopefully Oden can play 50-60 games this year and we get a "real" look at what he brings. J.R
NO is stupid, he's just going to walk to NY in a couple of years when is contract is up, now way he stays in NO. Too bad we didnt try to get collison.
R-3
Wow what a trade! Indiana just robbed NO. I would have loved to get in on Collison. That was our chance. Great PG that could have split time with Dre. Too bad we couldnt have thrown Bayless and Rudy at it. DAMM$T
Lowman
Greg Oden, history really does repeat itself. Remember Sam Bowie? We should have traded Oden at the beginning of last season. Roy is not an All Star caliber player. We need to get a new point guard, get rid of Roy and Oden and build off that. We didn't trade for CP3 last season when the deal was there for us. I think we are lucky to make 5th in the west this year. Rudy needs to go back to Spain and stay there. Hopefully Cho will turn us around. Just my humble opinion, but hell basketball sucks anyway. J.R
I dont know if I would say that Roy is not an allstar. He has been voted in by the coaches the last 3 years. That means he's an allstar. Maybe you meant superstar? Roy aint going anywhere any time soon. I do agree that they need a PG. Miller cant last forever.
impur
Roy is definitely an elite player in the league, his stats prove it. Remember he was hurt a lot last year. But I agree on Oden, just baggage thats going to cost $$ and bring no return. The guy is a perpetual injury each, its just a matter of when. Man i wish they would have taken Durant...... jadams7
I think the Blazers organization is pretty much 'all in' on Greg at this point. You wont get crap in a trade, and if healthy he is our best shot at getting a championship. Dominant centers are BY FAR the toughest piece to get in the league, and Greg, if healthy, has shown the ability to be able to be that piece. Yes, the health issue has been pretty bad, but I think at this point you just ride it out and see what you can get out of him. If you trade him, you pretty much lose the advantage you would have over most of the other Western conference teams, and if he continues to stay injured, they have proven that they can still be competitive without him. It would be nice to land a PG, but CP3 is pretty unrealistic at this point (especially with the Collison trade) and unless we pull a miracle and land Tony (and Eva) Parker without giving up anything too crucial, I dont see any available PGs that are really better than Miller. I do think we need a 2nd All-star level player to help carry the scoring burden. Aldridge is a good 3rd best scorer but as a 2nd, he would need to grow a pair. impur
Yah LA still gets pushed around down low. Needs to bulk up!
J.R
"grow a pair" Perfect discription! Would love to have Eva, I mean Tony Parker on our team!
NoobtoSalt
I was at the game last year when Oden's knee went out. It was a sad day to be a blazer fan when that happened. Hope he's healthy this year. Glad that we have a couple extra big men to help out though.
Michael7979
Man i wish they would have taken Durant...... There is a paper trail that shows that might be part of the reason KP is gone. It shows he held back info. on Durant from P. Allen.
