Emerald525
Saw this on craigslist this morning. I don't know if it is still available. I don't know why I even look for tanks?(nutty) 90 gallon for 785 dollars with 300 pounds of live rock. Don't think the thought of getting it and parting it out didn't occur to me! http://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/for/1767578375.html
mytshall
tank Saw it yesterday and emailed him about the specs. Doesn't look like anywhere near 300 pounds of live rock though.
Emerald525
I agree I don't think it is 300 pounds but still a good deal possibly.
jackaninny
Seems like the lights would be the make or break with this system unless you could get him down to 550-600 in terms of buying it to part it out.
ReeFit
yea it looks more like 100lbs of rock.

I don't think I would even go that high. I would figure $1 per gallon for the tank and $1.50 per pound for the rock (Looks like maybe 100 lbs.) and then add for the extras. Unless the lights are really nice breaking even on it may be tough even at $600.
jgf86123
Unless that rock is nothing but solid concrete, there's no way in hell its 300lbs of rock.
Emerald525
Unless that rock is nothing but solid concrete' date=' there's no way in hell its 300lbs of rock.[/quote'] The only thing I can figure is maybe there's some in the sump and some in storage somewhere.(scratch)
jgf86123
Judging from his stocklist, I doubt he's running a sump LOL
Mikep503
If thats 300 pounds of rock, I will make some one a great deal on the 25,000 pounds in my tank! How about $0.50 a pound if you buy all 25,000 pounds? DOH!
Gill
Ya I wouldn't even pay 600. I bet someone gets a killer deal when it comes down to the wire and he has to unload it. Probably the LFS
