So i'm starting to do some plaining on this thing:)

I want to have two 1" drains, one in each corner with overflow boxes

one 1" return in the middle (with some crazy spray bar)

I was thinking a 20 long sump and a 10 gallon refug

I have a mag 9.5b for a return pump and a BM NAC-3 for a skimmer(also going to use skimmer from my other tank)

Will be using the rodi and dual chamber reactor and two part dosing from other tank.

well at 4+ feet of head the pump can only flow 700-800gph and a 1" pvc schedule 40 can flow 960gph with low friction loss. My best guess would be 600-800gph for each 1" overflow with a far amount of friction loss. I should be fine i would think

I was planing on running a overflow box in the middle and two returns, one at ether end. Well I decided to look at my tank for the first time in a while and noticed a large piece of glass in the center of my tank. So that's out of the picture.

Now I'm looking to run one return in the center and two overflow boxes one at ether end. Each box is going to have two 1" drains one will be a full siphon the other will be a emergency backup.

I was thinking of running flex tubing for drain and return. What do you think about that? I would have the bulkhead then a T fitting a valve then a barb fitting that I would clap the flex tubing to, that for two drains and the return. The other two (the backups) would not have a valve.
