CA2OR
how do fungias multiply? I mean I know they produce new polyps or plates....but do they let go of the rock or something? I ask because the smaller of the two looks like its "foot" os letting go of the rock...is that good? Can I speed the process?
dsoz
Let it take its course. As it grows, the little stem will break and the plate will fall down to the sandbed. Then a new bud will grow from the rock where the first one was. If you try to hurry the process you may end up killing your fungia factory. dsoz

dsoz
As long as it is still healthy, I would say let it take its course. If it starts looking bad then snap it off (then give to ME!) dsoz
