grassi
I just got a couple of them. This pic is not mine, but they are from the same one. I'm looking forward to have them attached and under some light!

sharoleb
Beautiful!!!!
grassi
Yes they are beautiful. They can show 2 different colorations depending on the light. As most of the anemones they can be a little dangerous if not handled well. I always wanted to set up a pico with mini carpet, maxi minis, zoas and ricordea. Clay, I will give you one when they start splitting... unless you have some small fish in your tank ;-)
Kung Fu Spider Crab
That is gorgeous!!! You might be able to make a little extra cash if they start splitting. I'd be interested as well.
Emerald525
Very nice Alex I can't wait to see them in your tank.
grassi
Yes, I hope to pay back what I payed for them and maybe finance the maxi minis too. I'm just waiting for the lights to fire up...
grassi
Very nice Alex I can't wait to see them in your tank. Jamie would kill me if I release them in the tank lol They are just waiting for the new location inside a breeding box. The 2 clowns that are in that tank are looking inside the box already... like some kids in front of a toy shop

Emerald525
Are they difficult to care for? I don't know anything about them. Beth wants one too!
grassi
They are kinda like mushrooms. Not difficult to keep. Let's see if they pop some babies :-) They are doing well, getting more and more color
nnewhouse
From your description and picture they look just like rock anemones?
grassi
No, it is a different one. The "rock anemones" are part of phymanthidae. The "mini carpet anemone" is a stichodactyla tapetum, a family with "sticky fingers" Mine is this one: http://store.atlantisaquarium.net/inv054.html

grassi
Sure, as soon as they will start to split! They are still into the temporary container. I have to find time to setup the tank for them.

grassi
They love banana split ;-) I was just kidding. I was told they will split independently from the amount of food.. but I don't believe that. I will feed them a lot
ClayTheSavageFraser
I am praying for the split!! Please split!! Split!! Geeez!! Hurry up!! LOL!! Clay
grassi
ahhahahaha I'm trying to build a little tank to plumb on top of the frag tank so they will be more comfortable and, hopefully, split like crazy. If they don't split... I will ask Jamie to use the razor (brick)
