mytshall
I have a rock about 5" x 2" with probably over a 100 of these on it. No room in my tank. It has a nice flow to it. $
reefnjunkie
Make sure those bad boys don't get on another rock-They look like the type I had that wipe out a Nuke green colony of zoos I had- Started with one polyp that I thought was just a morph-a few months later my vivid green zoos were decimated. This was from my first tank. they are neat looking but the green was better-IMO
Bitricker
I got a few of those on some live rock I got, they seem to be spreading a lot faster than I would like. I wouldn't let them off that rock either.
ciao
How do you kill them if they spread onto another rock? Do you inject Kalk into them like Aptasia?
reefnjunkie
I take an xacto knife and cut them off and scrape the heck out of the rock until there is no visible sign of them left. In an extreme case, I then take the "red" epoxy and form a sheet/layer and lay it over the rock so they can not come back. Yes they die  (laugh)
mytshall
no problems Its by other rocks but hasn't jumped ship. No problems but no room in the tank.
Bitricker
don't mean to discourage anyone from taking them .... I really like the look of them, they just grow faster than most so I intend to keep them on just one rock. They aren't jumping to other rocks at this point. I only wish everything else grew as rapidly.
reefnjunkie
don't mean to discourage anyone from taking them .... Agreed, I hope my reply did not look that way. They are not bad looking but they are agressive so they need to have their own room, or an xacto knife-I like the later(plotting)
mytshall
new price $10 looking to make some room as my anemone is moving around. They look good and good filler for tanks not crammed full like mine. Also some emerald green ones roughly same size for $
