Tashier Posted November 14, 2006 Share Posted November 14, 2006 The best way I've found for heavy scratches is to start with a palm sander with ~2000 grit sand paper. If it's not coming out, go to some more agressive paper. Then work your way back to the 2000. After your done sanding use the Novus scratch remover you can get at Tap Plastics, or your LFS for twice the price. Start with the 3 and work your way to the 1 (just a cleaner really). It's a lot of hard work polishing, you can get polish discs for a drill which help. It's a lot of hard work though, I spent all day doing it to my jacked up tank.
