talkalot82
I have had this tank set up for about two years and Just last night I was looking at my amipod/copepod and noticed jelly fish in my tank about the same size as the ampipod/and copepods. I havent put a thing in my tank new for months, and I dont know where they came from but they little buggers seem happy and they arent hurting anything. my two fish and all my crabs and corals are just fine. should I be worried, and how did I get them? Any Ideas? I was under the impression they's get sucked up in my canister filter or my aquaclear on the back however neither has happened.... Isaac
It sounds like you have Hydroids. They start out like a tiny Aptaisia and when they reach a certain size the top or the Medusa releases its self and swims like a jelly fish. They are nothing to worry about unless you are raising fish or seahorse fry.
