DIY clear mesh top

I have thought this through since i'll be doing it on my DIY rimless cube.

Build the frame out of acrylic. Attach the mesh to the acrylic. Then glue on little tabs that will let the acrylic frame sit just inside the tank and flush with the top. You'll only need 3 tabs really - 2 on each side and one i the back. That way you won't notice it.

Did you find clear mesh? If so how large are the squares?

well there's a thread on RC about it..he took window frame and put in the clear mesh. but im not sure where to get it that wont be a huge amount.

i was thinking about getting some window screen and splining the mesh into the frame. ive heard of people using black mesh like the pond screen at petsmart and that its so thin that it doesn't really block any light. but i still kind of wanna use clear
