drock59
Just wondering how hard/costly it would be to incorperate an RSS feed into this website?
WAVES
whats RSS?
drock59
http://www.xml.com/pub/a/2002/12/18/dive-into-xml.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS_%28file_format%29 That should explain it better than I can. Basically, a very quick and easy way to see what is going on. Lots of info very quickly. I just want to be able to click one button and see whats new, instead of going to pnmas.org, click forums, then reading through several. Just a thought....most modern websites have RSS built in. Reefcentral does not have it, suprising, but TRT does. Bottom line, it makes looking at the site a lot easier for a lot more people.
andy
Something like this, perhaps?
Nyles
Rss is a Free subscription service, almost like the old newsletter systems. Its built into most email clients. I use it to keep up with news in different industries. Basically it sends news, posts, info snipets, google uses it to post movie clips. It could easily be used here to do a daily feed for posts, or simple rss for important announcements and calendar events.
Chief
I didn't want you to think that I wasn't looking into this. I have been very busy lately but will research it soon. I am also looking into fixing the google map that has failed for some reason. Jay
