CA2OR
I know this is a retarded question, and I know there are dozens of types of Birdsnest, but can someone tell me if this one has a name. Pic taken under actinic's to capture the blue a bit better.
CA2OR
I just noticed in the last few days the polyps have changed to a dark blue, they were fairly light purple at one point quite a while ago and I just never really paid attention to it. Then one day I noticed it grew......alot. Then a couple days later the polyp color had changed....is this normal?
ClayTheSavageFraser
Yep, I think you should put it in my tank and put my name on it!! LOL!! Clay
CA2OR
Now that sounds familiar. I used to say that all the time also. I took it from Doran who in one thread when I was trying to ID something he proposed the name "in my tank"....
Rick
Are you going to frag/trade this? If so then I think you were interested in the purple zoas I got a couple of days ago. (Just need to decide whether to frag and how much) LMK, Rick
CA2OR
I haven't thought about it yet.....it isn't super big...I could probably cut an inch or 2 off. Not much though. To be honest my ideal trade size is about what this thing is all together.

Rick
Is Medford far from me? If your taking a drive to California then it is about 30 miles or so before you get to the OR/CA border.
