Hey all you reefers that love the ocean and oregon coast like i do.....what is the best place to stay between florence and astoria? I am thinking more between newport and lincoln city if any of you have stayed in that area let me know where and how you liked it. I am taking the wife to the coast for our one year wedding anniversary(yahoo) this weekend but am stumped as to where to go.

Its gotta be nice or my wife will never forgive me haha! (wife) (hidesbehindsofa)

I looked online but every hotel and motel has the most awesome and scenic pictures on thier website but i know this is very deceiving as not all resorts are gems. I was thinking the inn at spanish head but have heard good and bad things and its kinda spendy at 200 bux a night. All help is welcome!! Thanks in advance on helping out a fellow reefer! (clap) (clap) (clap)

If your looking for something that wont break the bank try Shamrock Lodgelettes there located in Yachats. Some great places to see are cape Perpetua amazing views and well worth it!!!!!!! Also if you like to take some walks there is a visitors center that offers some great trails to hike. Another suggestion is to visit the Heceta Head lighthouse. What to eat what do you like?

Honestly I dont know, ask them for a key and you want to see the rooms, I havent been in a jacuzzi room there since 1999, it is getting dated, but I can tell you they have remodeled parts of the establishment (Kitchen), just dont know about the rooms. I like the spanish head myself, simply because all the rooms are unique, and the food is good. :)

Go to the Starfish hotel.....it's new and just south of Chinook Winds Casino and the Surftides Motel. Great place a little spendy but the wife and I thought it was worth it. Definately a place to check out.......as they don't allow kids,(there is exceptions), but they are trying to build themselves as an adults hotel.

Check them out, I think you'll like.
