fishboys
A tank is a lot like a house, at $250k everyone's a buyer. Get up over $500k and you've dropped potential buyers by over 75% then you go over a cool million and your down to 1-2% of the market. Everyone can afford to buy and run a 40 but get upwards of 180 gallons and your market shrinks. At least that's what I think. Remember this information is only worth what you paid for it and maybe not even that. GLWTS
spectra
Big tanks are hard to sell for some reason. I have always wanted a 180 but have no place to put one....
Peng
agreed..your price is pretty acceptable but just it's kind of off the season and 180g is pretty big
merritt180
Lol i always thought 180 were super common i had 2 setup at the same time after selling off my 240 only cause it was to deep i got tired of getting my face wet to reach the bottom lol
Arsonmfg
Prepare to give it away for dirt cheap or wait till winter time and you'll have a better chance of getting your asking price... This happens every summer.
PowderBlue
Yea I'd wait for winter myself. I flip a lot of fish equipment and my garage stays full through summer I don't even try to sell it during these months. Electrokate
Got photos of the furniture? What is the stand made of? I am moving and looking for more like a 120 partly because landlord is ok with smaller tanks... I can have a total of 300 gallons in the house just not all in the same tank. But I will ask, cause running only one reef sounds awesome.
