xmas_one
Thought I’d share the dramatic effect putting a glass lid had on my 20 long. Both temp fluctuations and evaporation are dramatically diminished.
MorseReef
I would be curious to see what effect the glass lid had on your PH?
NateDawg
Looks nice! Did it effect your PH at all?
xmas_one
Doesn’t look like it made any difference on pH.
albertareef
That is a pretty clear and impressive difference in the temp swings. Thanks for sharing!
EMeyer
I've noticed the same, I am a huge fan of glass lids for this reason. Keep the heat and water inside the tank! People always bring up gas exchange but in a tank with a sump and a skimmer I am sure there is more than enough gas exchange.

I would have guessed differently but it just goes to show. Do the research with out assumptions.
