Lovesalt
Fish are alive and well. Skimmer is dialed in. Brackets for my Hydra 26's came today but.... I didn't account for the black trim along the top of the tank. Going to have to find a way to modify the bracket or the trim. The ReefBox
Suzie just measure and position the lights where you will want them then trim the plastic rim just enough to get your brakes where you want them
Lovesalt
Found a hot knife in the garage and cut the plastic trim: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lovesalt
And I have light!!!! Anyone have feedback and position and height? I feel like maybe they should be closer together and slightly lower. Hydra 26 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
albertareef
Looking good! Seems like the horizontal position might be limited by the overflow based on you top down pic. As is, looks like they might be centered over each "half" of the tank so should be a pretty symmetrical distribution. I guess the question would be whether or not you want to bias toward enhanced lighting toward the center of the tank. Glad to see the first denizens are doing well! Love this tank. Not. That was for my hot knife, not the tank. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
