Omoluabi
I had to get some back up power just in case the power goes out
junior
I keep my power head, and a backup heater connected to my batteries. That way if I lose power, the vital stay on until I make it home. With just one power head, and a heater, the backup will last a lot longer. Higher Thinking
How long do you think that would last? Box only says 35 minutes and I'm thinking it wasn't anticipating pumps, but rather something like a computer. I'm curious to know how much power it holds. Thirty minutes is definitely better than no minutes
fishboys
I bought a battery back up for my mp-40's. I think it will run just the 40's for hours. I just want movement until I can get generator fired up.

Thirty minutes is definitely better than no minutes I think it would run the pumps for hours due to the low wattage of the pumps

Thirty minutes is definitely better than no minutes I'm curious about run time as well. Did a quick lookup and calculation just for the fun of it. That particular UPS has a sealed lead acid 12v 3.6 amp hour battery. The MP40's max wattage is 38 watts. If you had two running at max power (which you might not) you would get about 5 hours run time. That is, if only the MP40s were connected. I could be wrong, but it would give you at least enough time to get to your tank. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
