thanks guys.  for anyone that has their tank next to the window....do you let the sun hit the tank?  

i've been leaving the blinds open lately so that the corals can wake up to the sun, i have to clean the glass a bit more often but other than that im wondering if im setting myself up for more algae 

hi guys.  excited to be back in the hobby.  my first saltwater tank was way back when i was going to OSU.  had a few freshwater tanks since then, but i found cuttlefish and coral last year and decided i had to get myself a reef tank.  biggest mistake so far was starting with a 15gal.  gonna need to upgrade soon 😄  so far the torches have been my favorite.
