Yes it will grow sps. I have a 20 gal nuvo, I didnt feel that 1 of these was not quite enough to cover the whole tank for sps.  So I concentrated my sps more directly under the light. 

Would you mind sharing your settings?

New to Prime hd. Is a single unit able to grow low end sps? Current pars between 400-250 with a hipargero on a 29 biocube.

I had already. The spawn was a last ditch to spread its dna. The clam died over night. Something more was going on then being harassed by a tailspot.

Now my clam is stress spawning causing my water to fowl up. Gonna have to do a late night water change. [emoji29]

I'm going to try to make a bottle trap and see if I can get the little guy. If mine does not work, will take you up on your offer Bill.

I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it myself. Clam has been upset set for about two weeks but couldn't find any pests. Then today I witnessed my tailspot harassing it. 

So my tailspot blenny has developed a taste for my Maxima clam's mantle. I have moved the clam to my other tank for now, but I do not monitor or dose Cal. in that tank. So looking to borrow a small fish trap, I will pay to use it. Need to get this Blenny out of my SPS tank and get my clam back in.

@Richard972 Any update on that white spot? 

Really no change. No new growth in the spot. The spot has not changed size or shape. The stylo is still going strong as a whole. So still a mystery. [emoji848]

When I saw the magnifier glass on suncrestreef's tank at the last meeting, I had to get one. Makes it so much easier for inspecting, photographing corals. Well worth the money.

Cerith? We're they on the clam? Usually come out at night, disappear during day. Size?

Both on the clam, smaller then a grain of rice. Couldn't sleep early this morning, couldn't find any out at night.

Same. What I have seen in the forums is white maybe with very little color. So I'm not sure what these are or where they came from.

Had a white spot appear on my stylophora over night monday. It has not grown in size. Almost looks like new growth but in the middle of the branch.

Running a HIPARGERO on my 29 biocube. Surprisingly it grows most sps. But looking to push my growth further with a better light. Thinking an ai prime hd (not sure if a single puck will do) or hydra, would really like to stay under $150-200.
