Is that a nem in first pic?

At the minimum I'd get a brs unit. I'm going for a spectrapure 6 stage plus extra pre filters in my hydrologic 2 stage unit. I will be on unknown quality water and eventually spring/well. The brs units are not much more than the aquaticlife.

Did we give up on the grow out? It's been several months since an update. 

How about the mining, processing, and recycling of the materials for solar panels and batteries for electric cars. Wonder why all that is done in foreign countries with near zero pollution controls. Solar panels are highly toxic to manufacture and recycle, same with all forms of batteries. That's why it's all done in countries like china who don't care about the environment, they just dump it in their rivers or bury it. How much of the the great barrier reef bleaching is due directly from us diving amongst it? How about cruise ships and tour boats that dump their sewage/garbage overboard? They are real close to china/India compared to us who just dump toxic waste into their water. If you want real change, go after the countries with big pollution! Hint, it's not the U.S. and selling carbon credits won't do anything except make everyone pay more for everything. 

Pdxmonkey  just look at what your fabulous state of Washington is trying to build up by the Idaho border that is nothing but toxic waste... It's a smelter for building your so called clean energy solar panels but it will destroy the ground water and air. Look up the Newport smelter and then get back to us about Washington giving a rip about the environment. As long as it's not near Olympia they don't care.

I'm going to have to let another member grab up the tort. I am moving to Idaho and just don't have the time with prepping my house for sale.

Reef crystals is what made mine explode. After switching to salinity it has not grown.

If you are not sure I would recommend using some seachem stress guard. It's helped my wrasse with fin rot or a damaged tail fin, not sure which and also my blenny with what appears to be pop eye. I used it in my display with no harm to any coral. I have sps, lps, softies, anemone, snails, crabs, etc. It does make your skimmer go nuts.

That stand is slick. What thickness tube was used? Is it powder coated? Tig welded?

My tailspot blenny gets something similar, not sure what it is. Eye clouds over and is swollen. I use seachem stress guard and it seems to go away. It will make your skimmer go nuts though. Not sure how many times mine has overflowed on the floor due to this

But you can kill that copper resistant velvet with 1 tsp of chloramine tap water per 100 gallons of volume!

Alberta, if you want the small piece I called dibs on you can get it. I don't really need any more sps, that one just has interesting colors and is supposed to be tougher for me to kill. If not I'll grab it.

Ah ha.. I don't have room for that size but if you frag a couple heads off I can find room. 

Hammer or frogspawn? 

I really like this coral. Not sure what it is. I got it off one of wwc auction things along with many of my others. Hasn't grown in a year or so that I've had it and it's a bit duller yellow now. Has pretty long sweepers at night though.

Is that a frogspawn? I have one like that and thought it was a hammer as that's what I was told.
