All things aquarium in Tigard has a ton of fittings and such I believe I would give them a call and see if they have what you need. Also saltwater obsessions is good at helping out with plumbing stuff in my experience. Good luck!

Awesome fish! I remember seeing this guy at cuttlefish getting blown around the little invert tank because the flow was too high and I let them know and he was much happier after it was turned down in his chaeto ball home I almost got him too 👀 hope he lives a long healthy life!

Really cool almost had to get one from cnc one day but decided against it with the space available in my 90 gallon tank. If you haven’t checked out on Instagram @atlreef he has the coolest parrotfish with a lot of character check him out! Also has a super awesome eel named Milton....

Nice thanks for the point in the right direction! Think I’m looking for a 425 more so but that 350 is priced very well.. pretty tempting.

I believe it’s a 250 as I was in there yesterday. Love their shop btw I go there way too much I think they’re sick of seeing me. Thanks for the idea though and I will double check to make sure it is actually a 250!

I have a 90 gallon tank that I got from saltwater obsessions a long time ago and I feel like I want to switch it out for a reefer 425 or if it’s a good enough deal downsize to a 350. I would say it’s mainly because of the sump not having a lot of options and the ease of use with the reefers from what I’ve gathered. If anyone knows of someone trying to get rid of either hit me up with some info thanks for your time. 🤙

Hanna salinity checker vs. Red Sea refractometer
in General Discussion
Posted
Hey all! I just got my Hanna salinity/temp checker in the mail from marine depot today. Love the idea of being able to just hold it down into the water for a few seconds and get temp and salinity obviously I feel like anyone would. I’ve been trying to make the water change process as simple and painless as possible to make me want to do them more and this is my second to last thing on the list for that. One thing I have noticed now using it is that it is reading 1.029 on my salinity in my lagoon and the Red Sea refractometer reads 1.024. Red Sea calibrated with rodi as they describe to do and the Hanna meter calibrated with the 35 ppt solution it comes with. My question is which on do yall think is correct and why are they reading differently? Thank you very much for reading and any input is much appreciated 🤙
