I always have extra Chaeto if anyone needs some. I'm in Hillsboro just send me a pm.

Same here, I am in Aloha in Cooper Mountain area. Have plenty to go around. Might even have a few pods in it.

Just met trahelyk to pick up a couple things. Cool dude! A few gems for free that nobody snatched up. Flipper, tunze Care magnet, mj1200..... these are good things that should’ve even went fast for sale at a good price. Even better free! Wish he still had a tank I could’ve thrown a few thank you frags at.

Yep very cool dude! I got three fish from him a couple months ago, they are the stars of the tank.

  3. I think you will be fine temp wise.  It takes a lot to heat up water and unless you are living in a tent (which I doubt 😀) your house wont get that warm.  If you have AC you could turn it down Sunday night and you could lower the temp on your tank so the water is a little cooler.

  5. I have a valentini saddle puffer for about 5 months now.  Great fish and very active but the last couple of days he has stopped eating.  Still active but seems to have no interest in food even when I wave clam slices right in front of his face.   I notices Saturday he looked a bit fatter than normal but the last couple of days back to normal shape, I did not see him puff but that might have been post puff bloat (?).  Do they stop eating for a few days after they puff up??  Also I have noticed no aggression from the other fish in the tank so I think I can rule out he stressed and my water numbers are all good and all the other fish are active and eating so I can rule water problems.

Any advice would be good but I am hoping I am stressing over nothing.

  6. You say you have a 20 gallon sump.. What is the DT size??  I have the 20 gallon long tank as my sump and a 75 gallon DT.  I have the Osmolator and it takes longer to get it out of the box than it is to set it up.  It has a high water warning which is good if your return pumps stops so you know something is wrong.

  7. Like you I went from fresh water to saltwater. I started with a 29 gallon tank and after a month I moved everyone to my 75 gallon tank. I have found saltwater fish keeping is not that much harder than freshwater other than you just need stay on top of topping off with freshwater daily so the salinity stays in check.  I am just now starting with some beginner corals so need to learn how to keep the elements and hardness in check.

I would recommend checking the for sale forum, you can save a bundle that way.
