  2. You don't really need the red clips. Make sure you're pushing the tubing all the way into the fittings, and that the tubing is cut square and not obround. So use tubing cutter or razor blade and not wire cutters. For canister, unthread and reseat the o ring, maybe pull it out and coat in Vaseline. Thread it back together and snug it down.

  3. when I got my BRS unit out of the box and started using it I remember there being a slight leak from one of the membrane canisters, I just tightened it and the problem went away, I have since changed the media twice and have yet to have another issue. If its not a simple fix I would consider calling them, they have great customer service.

I plan to on Thursday dose yours have any red clips on the red line quick connects mine has one on one of them iam wondering if thay all need them but that one is also leaking so IDK

  8. Those are sweeper tentacles. The coral extends them to get food or attack another coral in its vicinity. That looks like a frogspawn.

Ok that's what I thought about the the name can I post some other ones and get the names and where thay should be mounted 55254626ac0a686a61bcfe872e77daa5.jpg68863d196d9f18d23c43623a20cb5447.jpgef2eb0b51b9819491a5a9e65bdf9a5dc.jpg

  10. Yes if it's a 40 breeder. That's the perfect size

It is a breeder and I am currently using it as my reef tank but tinking of tearing down my 120 fresh and makeing it my display and using the 40 for a sump but I would have to drill my 120 still new to reefing keeping but already want to go bigger I have had fresh off and on my whole life

  11. You would be lacking the blues you need if it's a planted freshwater light. Also I think the spectrums wouldn't be correct. And if it's not planted just for light to see fish it will not really grow coral.

Thank u for the info I have had it on my fresh tank for quite some time but just getting in to the saltwater side of thangs and all I have for it right now is a 50/50 in a petco fixture I had laying around we all know the one lol just wondering if the swop would be better
