I know,  I just hate it cause I know they'll turn around and sell them for like $50 to someone who's gonna put them in a small tank or wrong environment. 

Totally and that's their home I have been keeping fresh water for years and have had all the mastacks and challenges that comes with learning the hobby but I need new challenges I just don't want them to go to a home that some one is still learning like I was

I have good luck selling fish to LFSs. Usually, they will give you a better deal if you take store credit instead of cash.

I know I thought about that but it will be kinda strange cuts that's where I bought them from in the first place there is not many lfs's close to me

No trying to sell also.. the remaining fish from my African cichlid days

Oh well that's the pits iam trying to sell them out of my 120 freshwater so I can convert it over to a reef good luck with yours if u do find a forum please let me know

anyone know of any portland african cichlid forums or groups i can sell some cichlids on? Been looking and i cant find any. African cichlid community surprisingly so small here with wetspot tropical fish being local. Thanks in advance.

Sorry everyone my phone was acting weird and was not getting any of these updates I don't know exactly what species fish they are I know one of them is a Bumble Bee and 4 of them are bright orange I know that's really bad I don't know what's in my tank but I like how they look and I don't really want to see them go but I don't have the money or the space to just buy a big saltwater reef tank so converting my freshwater is the only way I can go

Hello my name is Brandon and I know that this is not the right place to post this but I thought maybe there maybe somebody out there who is into fresh water as well as salt I have had a freshwater tank for years and right now I have cichlids in it I'm wanting to get rid of the cichlids tear it down and turn it into a reef I need to upgrade my 40 gallon of reef so I need to get rid of some of the livestock all the fish are about 1.5 to 2" I also have a Chinese algae eater that is about six inches and three Catfish two of them are spotted catfish I believe they are about an inch and a half and one of them is an unknown catfish that's the way that lfs sold it to me they did not know either what it was it is probably 16 inches if anyone is interested please let me know thank you

Ya ya I know that this is a reef forum but I Am hoping there may be some one out there that is the same as me I have had a freshwater setup for years with different kinds of fish right now I have cichlids and a few catfish that I'm wanting to sell so I can convert my 120 over to salt I want to upgrade my 40 gallon reef tank into my hundred twenty gallon also have a Fluval fx6 that I would be willing to sell but the livestock has to go first

I can't tell you specifically how big a tank other than Luke at Reef Filtration told me it would do the 60G without any issues.

I tried helis but they are just to crazy for me. I've had a few slashes but I break em to much so I went back to Losi. They just stay together a little better for me. The slash handled great through!
