With my 30 gallon JBJ Rimless tank, I plan to put on a small reactor, made by AquaMaxx.  I am sick of daily dosing to fight wide swings.   Any suggestions to make this a successful install?

Less PC than our Pres?  I doubt it.

Thanks Mr. or Ms. Higher Learning.  It is taking me some time to learn the basics (tricks?) of navigating and using a forum.  I wonder why the "Reply to this topic" box is at the bottom of every page rather than just the last page.  In any case, now I know this.  My next step is to learn about PMs.

Am I in the right place?  I want to get on the mysterious list for the PAR meter.  The last post in this thread in for April, 2016.  

If I am so lucky as to get on the list, how am I contacted, and how can I see the list?  When does the deposit need to be paid?  How is the refund handled?

Mg at 1050 to 1150  I have been adding magnesium but cannot get the level further up.

Maybe I should bump it up heavier to raise up to 1350.

30 gallon nano with fish, lps, softies, and a few sps.  Established for a year and now lots of coralline algae.  I have recently started to dose with two parts.  

but my dKh is shifting between 7.7 and 10.5, sometime more than a whole point in a day.  Should I be concerned?  

I have a calcium reactor on order.  This should help tremendously, right?

Simple question regarding air pumps with multiple outlets:

Will you lose air volume if you just connect one air hose and leave the others open?

If you join two outlets together into one hose, will you get double the volume?

I too don't know anything about values, but I could make good use of the sump.

Greetings Aquanius from a fellow new old reefer.  In my case, there was a thirty year hiatus between my earlier aquarium work and now.  I am so happy to finally have a tank (or two) up and running again.  Wow, have things changed.  I live in Raleigh Hills and appreciate the numerous LFS's in the area.
