  1. If you ever heard my way I'd meet in Forest Grove. I'd be happy to give you some, can toss in some brittle stars, whites and blues. I'm sure there would be pods and possibly other little critters too.

  2. Figured I’d check here before buying new, in need of ~29 gallon tank (or sump would be a plus!) I plan on turning into a sump. Looking specifically for these measurements: 30”L, 12” W, 18”T.

I only have room for this size under the cabinet and my current 20 long ( 30”L, 12”W, 12”T) barely fits length and width but I’d like something a bit taller so a 29 should be good. If it’s already turned into a sump even better but not necessary, just a 29 gallon glass tank is fine. Hoping for something in the Forest Grove, Hillsboro, Aloha area. Let me know location and cost. Thanks!!

  3. Ooh nice! I plan on stoping by either tomorrow or Saturday to pick up a mate for that Wyoming White female Clown I got from you a few weeks ago, she’s doing amazing and has chosen a huge green toadstool as a home. It’s her “anemone”

It would be nice if someone wanted a clown only tank. It's wierd but I'd hate to see the family split up. After their 4 am cleaning, and 7 am feeling. Lol

I don’t blame you lol, you went through a lot raising them and no doubt would have some sort of attachment. Might be tough to find someone to take them all though but it would be a cool tank I’d think.

  5. Are you going to start selling them? If so are you planning on selling to stores or just privately out of your home?

  6. I absolutely would avoid The World Of Wet Pets, it used to be my go to place for freshwater back when I kept several freshwater tanks and had just started out with saltwater but the very last time I went I watched as one of their long time employees (guy with dark hair can’t remember name, talks a lot seems like a B-S-er) attempt to screw over someone. A younger guy came in to have his water tested to see if his tank was cycled and ready for fish, the employee was using the API test kit which I am familiar with as I used it for years with freshwater. I watched as he added the drops to test for Ammonia, the vial he tested for the Ammonia clearly was a darker green (which indicates high ammonia) and he immediately dumped it down the drain then walked over and proceeded to tell the customer his tank is cycled and ready for fish and walked him towards the saltwater section and I immediately felt sick.... I waited until the employee walked back up to help another customer up front and told the younger guy quickly what I saw and he looked a bit stunned and unsure but thankfully he ended up walking out telling the employee he would be back later. I haven’t been back since

Seeking a fuge light in Portland

If you want this fuge light it’s yours for a frag or some mushrooms! I’m buying an algae scrubber so won’t need it anymore. Like @SALTY said it’s a great light, grows Chaeto like crazyIMG_0171.jpg

  8. I have been rearranging one of my tanks and have a few different sized pieces of live rock I won’t be keeping, it should be ready to be picked up by Friday. I’ve had it for several years so fully cured. Some may have small patches of green star polyps or a branch here and there of Kenya tree or Anthelia, I’ll take a frag of whatever for it (no sps) or I’d take a couple mushrooms, snails, palys, Cheato or other macro algae, or I’d be happy to donate it to a newbie just starting out. I’m still in the process of picking through everything so not sure of exact amount of rock yet but for sure a few good sized pieces so far. Im hoping to have it set up to be picked up either Friday or Saturday. It will be in a bucket so no need to bring one. Located in Forest Grove, can possibly meet in Hillsboro or Beaverton for a frag [emoji6]

  9. I figured I’d ask here before turning towards the more expensive sumps, I’m hoping to find someone that can turn a 29 gallon tank into a simple 3 baffle sump, obviously I’ll pay and/or provide the supplies or pay up front for supplies and labor. It would probably turn into a disaster if I tried. Or even better if someone has a 29 gallon sump they want to sell even better!! I’m specifically looking for a 30” long 12” wide and around 18” tall, currently have a 20 long (30”12”12”) I can’t fit anything wider but looking for something a little taller.

    I have a comline 9004 available

Hmm, it says they’re rated for up to 65 gallons? My total water is 65 gallons and I have a fairly heavy bio load in this tank so I’m not sure if it’s quite what I need but I’ll definitely keep you in mind but I’d like to wait a bit to see what else is out here that may better suit what I need, I appreciate it though

  11. I think your rock flower will be fine, I have an older picture on here somewhere with my first red rock flower I’ve had for several years now that planted itself on a rock that was eventually gsp covered and it was completely fine. I would guess if it got upset enough it would scoot over... the same nem is now living amongst some Anthelia and doesn’t seem to mind. I just pull out any Anthelia around it if it gets a bit overgrown.

  12.

Looking to buy a good in sump skimmer for my 50 gallon (about 65 gallons total water pretty heavy bio load) something rated for up to ~150 gallons. Hoping to stay around $150 or even under, have cash. May consider paying a bit more depending on the skimmer. I’m available all day Friday or if you’re close by I can possibly pick it up after work today or tomorrow. Let me know what you have! I need something in good working order, no skimmers that need a new pump or new parts please, I need something that’s reliable I can immediately use. You can message me here or text me 971-470-5742 thank you!!

  13. Hey Taylor, I got my tank used and it was full of scratches so I planned on sanding it down but decided to try the Novak 3 part first and it worked great (and was less stressful then sanding the tank myself)! I used some auto polishing pads on an electric drill. Just throwing that idea out there in case you can't get it done professionally. Btw it took me and another person 3 hours to do my 112 gallon tank.

Well shoot maybe I’ll just try that if it comes to it, it has mostly small fine scratches no deep ones, probably 3-5 longer ones that are up higher and more noticeable so yeah maybe I’ll get lucky and won’t have to sand it after all. Were the scratches on your tank finer smaller ones for the most part? Did you have larger scratches at all to begin with?
