Not sure if I'm posting this in the right spot but either way... I decided to do my own HOB overflow setup out of PVC pipe. It's working great minus one little setback. I can't seem to get it to quiet down. It's doing a obnoxious gurgling sound. I've tried a lot of little things but I figured I'd ask on here before I try to pick up a HOB overflow online. I'll shoot some pictures of my setup with this. Thanks in advance guys! This isn't mine but it's kinda the same setup I got. Thanks for all the welcomes. BTW we built the overflow this weekend and it went kinda well... Only took 2 trips to Home Depot one to the fish store and maybe one to urgent care... I just setup my overflow (DIY HOB system) and the thought of it getting clogged and overflowing has me not sleeping well lol. I live in a apartment on the second story above our maintenance guy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Names Will, I'm brand new to the saltwater world but just got my 40B setup. I'm pretty sure I'll be asking for a ton of advice! I do have my brother in law (bubbarockies) helping me out tho. Hopefully I'll be getting my overflow and sump setup this weekend. I had a 45G freshwater for a while that I sold and figured if I was going to do it again I was going to do it right this time!
